Zambia burst Stuart Baxter’s bubble as Chipolopolo claimed a come-from-behind 2-1 win against South Africa at the Moruleng Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Bafana Bafana winger, Lebogang Manyama was disappointed that they allowed Zambia to come back into the match in the second half.

The Cape Town City attacker opened the scoring after 23 minutes, but the Zambians hit back twice in the second half to claim the win.

“It was a game of two halves, obviously very disappointed and I think the first half we were on top of them and in the second half we just didn’t pick it up,” Manyama told SABC after the game.

“They came back and they were always going to get chances because when it’s 1-0, it’s 50-50. We had to get the second goal, we missed a couple of chances.

“We cannot question the efforts from the boys, and I think we did very well considering a lot of us don’t have international experience and we are learning. It’s coming along very well.”
