A Nigerian woman, Mrs Ajibola Tai­wo, has delivered a set of sextuplets after 17 years of marriage.

Mr and Mrs Adeboye Taiwo welcomed the children (three boys and three girls) on May 11, 2017.

Mrs Adeboye deliv­ered her six children at the Virginia Com­monwealth Univer­sity Teaching Hospital (VCU) Richmond VA. USA.

The father of six, who disclosed that he was ex­pecting a baby but God gave him the greatest surprise of his life, not one or two, but six kids, is seeking the support of well-meaning Nigerians at home and abroad for support.

“I and Ajibola my only wife had been married for 17yrs. This is our first kids. All we were asking God for is at least a child and we never knew they were six until we had an ul­trasound. I was short of words when the babies came because God sur­prised me.

“The babies were de­livered on the 11th of May 2017 at the Laboru and Delivery Depart­ment of Virginia Com­monwealth Univer­sity Teaching Hospital (VCU), Richmond VA. USA.

“My wife is not em­ployed she is a mere housewife. I will need the help of God and support of people to raise these six kids at the same time,” Mr Taiwo said.
