Teenager Murders 9-yr old boy, ate part of his thigh and drank his blood after watching too many crime shows

A teenager murdered a nine-year-old boy, ate parts of his thigh and drank his blood after getting inspired by crime shows.

Vikesh Kumar, 16, who likes eating raw meat, also removed the boy’s heart and slung it by his school because he hated going there and thought it would have to be closed when the organ was found.

Kumar reportedly lured the boy, named Deepu, to his home by pretending he needed a string for a kite.

After the attack, he allegedly dumped the bag 50 yards away from Deepu’s home.He then strangled him before cutting his body into six pieces, washing them and stuffing them into a sack, police said.

Police, who arrested Kumar in Ludhiana, India on Friday, say he was inspired by TV programmes.

A spokesman said: ‘He behaved normally, as if nothing happened. He said he is fond of crime shows based on real-life incidents on television.’

Kumar, who reportedly confessed to the murder, and Deepu were distant relatives from poor families who migrated from Uttar Pradesh.

Neighbours said that despite their poverty, Kumar’s parents sent him to a private school.

Aadesh Punj, vice-principal of Holy Heart Senior Secondary School where he attended, said Kumar was expelled two months ago after he and others tried to burgle a temple.

Deepu’s dad Dalip is now demanding Kumar be tried as an adult.

He told the Hindustan Times: ‘It was a heinous crime. He cut the body of my son into pieces. I will demand capital punishment.
