Power Dynamos have confirmed the signing of striker Lyson Sikaonga.

Sikaonga has arrived at Power on a long term deal from Faz Division 1 Zone 2 club Roan United.

Power club secretary Ricky Mamfunda, said Sikaonga is a valuable addition to the Kitwe sides strike force, Super Sport reports.

“Yes, it is true that we have signed him. He was released by Roan and we have given him a three year contract,” Mamfunda said.

Sikaonga arrives at Power, after finishing as top scorer in the second tier with 26 goals for Roan. Nevertheless, his goals were not enough to help Roan to promotion, who finished second behind Konkola Blades, who beat them to the lone qualifying slot from Division 1 Zone 2.

He is set to fill the gap left by striker Patson Daka, who was Power top scorer in the just ended 2016 Super League season on 12 goals in all competition.

Daka has left Power to join Austrian second division club FC Liefering.

Power finished 4th this season with 61 points, twenty behind, Super Sport confirms.
